Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken out amid an ongoing custody dispute with her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, accusing him of deliberately exposing their children publicly for attention.
The actress disclosed that Nwoko has filed for full custody of their two sons, despite the children already being in his care. She made the allegations in a lengthy statement shared via her Instagram page.
Regina expressed distress over being separated from her children, stating that no mother can truly be at peace under such circumstances.
She explained that her silence over the past weeks was a conscious decision to avoid escalating the situation publicly.
According to her, the frequent appearance of their children on social media platforms during the dispute is not accidental.
She questioned whether the action reflects responsible parenting or an attempt to attract public engagement.
She further alleged that Nwoko dismissed all her nannies and compelled them to make false statements, accusing her of physical violence and alcohol abuse, claims she strongly denied.
Regina revealed that she last spoke to her children in mid-November, adding that the situation has taken a severe emotional toll on her.
She described herself as a devoted mother who deeply misses her children and remains determined to regain access to them.
In her statement, the actress suggested that the continued public conduct of her estranged husband makes it reasonable to question his motives, particularly given his background as a former legislator.
Despite the legal pressure, Regina maintained that she would not be intimidated and vowed to pursue custody of her children through appropriate means.
As of the time of filing this report, Ned Nwoko has not publicly responded to the allegations.
